Citizen Science
Citizen Science
“Science is a human endeavor”, the Next Generation Science Standards state. Urban Advantage believes that a student, class, teacher, or school can contribute to the greater scientific endeavor. Participating in citizen science opportunities helps students learn observation, recordkeeping, and data tracking skills. These skills can be applied to all science endeavors students take going forward, and likely will turn budding naturalists into full-fledged scientists in the meantime.
