The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) was founded at the 1964 World’s Fair and has evolved into New York’s center for interactive science, serving a half million students, teachers, and families each year. Located in Queens — America’s most diverse county — NYSCI is committed to creating a world where diversity unlocks innovation, and where people learn to use science, technology, engineering, and math to tackle complex 21st century challenges.

Visit New York Hall Of Science

Urban Advantage participants receive vouchers for admission to our institutions. Follow instructions below to reserve tickets using your voucher.

We are excited for you to visit. Vouchers are valid for general admission. To use this voucher, visit NYSCI and present your UA voucher (either paper or digital copy) at the Admissions Desk. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check the website to confirm ticket availability at https://nysci.org/specialty-museum-access-programs before you come.

Parking is not included.

To make a School Community Trip reservation, please contact our Group Reservations Department at 929-623-3324 Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm OR email [email protected] and include “Urban Advantage” in your subject line. You must provide your Redeem Code/Voucher ID.

Reserve a 20-minute lunchroom session, subject to availability.

For hours of operation, and all the support, inspiration, and teacher guides you will need to take full advantage of everything New York’s world-renowned, hands-on science and technology center has to offer you and your students please use our website, https://nysci.org/.

Mini Golf, 3D Theater, Science Playground and Featured Exhibitions/Experiences are not included.

Guidelines

  • School Community trip vouchers are for Parent Coordinators to host the families and students taught by UA-participating teachers on up to two trips per school year.
  • School Community trip vouchers expire on June 30th.
  • School Community Trip Redeem Codes (Voucher ID) must be presented at the time you book your reservation.
  • The Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator listed on the voucher must be present when the voucher is used.
  • Limitations to group size may apply, check institutional limits when reserving.
  • To request a bus, complete the bus request form on the portal (https://myua.amnh.org).
