Dedicated to its founding mission in 1936 as an educational institution, the Staten Island Zoological Society remains at the forefront of weaving effective education programs into its cultural role as a place of adventure, discovery and fun for all age groups. SIZ showcases more than 1,200 animals nestled in a beautiful 8-acre park, including more than 70 endangered or threatened species, reflecting more than 350 species of animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates from six of the world’s seven continents.

Urban Advantage participants receive vouchers for admission to our institutions. Follow instructions below to reserve tickets using your voucher.
We are excited for you to visit. Vouchers are valid for general admission. Present your Voucher on your mobile device or on paper at the ticket booth to be scanned by the booth attendant.
Free parking is available in our lot on the corner of Clove Road and Martling Avenue. Please visit http://www.statenislandzoo.org/calendar/ to view our events calendar.

Guidelines
- This voucher is for planning class and school community trips by UA-participating Teachers/Parent Coordinators/Administrators.
- Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator Vouchers expire on June 30th.
- All UA institutions, except for Queens Botanical Garden and New York Botanical Garden (Bronx), require advance timed-entry reservations. Please see instructions listed under each institution to reserve your timed entry tickets.
- UA institutions require that you show your timed entry tickets; please keep any emails with admission information.
- The Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator listed on the voucher must be present when voucher is used.
- Voucher does not include parking, except at the Staten Island Zoo.
We are excited for you to visit. Parent Coordinators can use their School Community Trip voucher for either an in-Zoo self-guided trip or for the Zoo’s Virtual Conservation Near & Far events.
In-Zoo self-guided trip: Reservations can be made at http://www.statenislandzoo.org/urban-advantage/. Please click the button under the option “UA Class Trip & School Community Trip Registration”. You will be required to upload a copy of your voucher in order to complete your registration. Please keep your confirmation email to show admissions upon arrival. If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam folder.
Virtual Conservation Near & Far events: These events take place periodically throughout the year. For more details about upcoming events, and for instructions for how to reserve your spot, please visit http://www.statenislandzoo.org/calendar/.

- School Community trip vouchers are for Parent Coordinators to host the families and students taught by UA-participating teachers on up to two trips per school year.
- School Community trip vouchers expire on June 30th.
- School Community Trip Redeem Codes (Voucher ID) must be presented at the time you book your reservation.
- The Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator listed on the voucher must be present when the voucher is used.
- Limitations to group size may apply, check institutional limits when reserving.
- To request a bus, complete the bus request form on the portal (https://myua.amnh.org).
