Urban Advantage participants receive vouchers for admission to our institutions. Follow instructions below to reserve tickets using your voucher.
We are excited for you to visit. Vouchers are valid for general admission.
Tickets are required; reserve in advance for fastest entry. Visit: https://www.bbg.org/visit to reserve your tickets. Click “Get Tickets”, then “Not a Member, Buy Tickets” (no fee will be charged). Select date and choose “Affiliated Organization Tickets” on the Reserve Tickets menu. Go to “Checkout”. You will receive a confirmation email with QR code that you must show on arrival. You must bring your UA Teacher voucher (either paper or digital copy) to show to Visitor Services staff.
Children under 14 must be supervised by adults 18 or over.
Parking is not included. Voucher not valid for entry to Lightscape or other ticketed events.

Guidelines
- This voucher is for planning class and school community trips by UA-participating Teachers/Parent Coordinators/Administrators.
- Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator Vouchers expire on June 30th.
- All UA institutions, except for Queens Botanical Garden and New York Botanical Garden (Bronx), require advance timed-entry reservations. Please see instructions listed under each institution to reserve your timed entry tickets.
- UA institutions require that you show your timed entry tickets; please keep any emails with admission information.
- The Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator listed on the voucher must be present when voucher is used.
- Voucher does not include parking, except at the Staten Island Zoo.

Class Trip Vouchers can be used for an instructor-led workshop that includes hands-on plant explorations, a tour of plant collections, and potting up a plant for each student in the education greenhouse. Schedule a 90-minute, onsite field trip Tuesday through Friday. See options and register at https://www.bbg.org/learn/school_group_guided_workshops.
Registration begins for fall/winter after Labor Day; for spring in December.
Teachers can also bring their classes self-guided without the use of a voucher. Register for a self guided trip: https://www.bbg.org/learn/school_group_visit_inquiry.
Teachers may request a pre-trip Teacher Support Visit with BBG UA staff on the UA Portal.
Parking is not included.
Guidelines
- Class Trip vouchers are for UA-participating science teachers to bring only the students they teach (grades 3-8) on up to two trips per school year.
- Class trip vouchers expire on May 31st.
- Class Trip Redeem Codes (Voucher ID) must be presented at the time you book your reservation.
- The Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator listed on the voucher must be present when voucher is used.
- Limitations to group size may apply, check institutional limits when reserving.
